Week 7 of the Wyoming High School boys’ basketball season amps up with key conference games and more. Several schools will wrap up their first time through league play.
The push towards the postseason begins in the last week of January. Teams continue to focus on conference games, as there are no tournaments for the second straight week.
Rock Springs junior Rylin Plant and Cokeville junior Kashton Walker were chosen as last week’s winners. Both won tournament titles and helped their teams to first-place finishes, as well.
The indoor track season will make its debut in the 2026 season on Friday and Saturday. Wyoming High School teams will be competing at four indoor track meets in the region.
Week 5 features several dual competitions Tuesday through Thursday before the weekend brings tournament action, whether that’s an invitational or team duals.
Two basketball stars were selected as the latest WyoPreps Athletes of the Week. They are Big Horn junior Afton Cummins and Thunder Basin junior Gibby Williams.
