(wyopreps.com) Regional tennis action took place over the weekend. The south went to Green River, while the north competed in Casper. The Kelly Walsh Lady Trojans dominated the north field scoring 66 team points. Powell and Sheridan finished tied with 34 total points.

The men's side of north action saw Campbell County edge Natrona 57 to 55. Cody came in third at 44 points.

The South side of regionals saw the Cheyenne Central boys run away with the team crown scoring 60 total points. Green River was second at 45 points, and Cheyenne East took third.

Jackson took the girls south title. Ten points behind Jackson was the Cheyenne Central ladies in second place. Laramie wound up third scoring 42 points.

State Tennis is September 27-29 in Cheyenne.
