Powell took down Worland twice in a double-header Tuesday night.

In game one Powell got 9 strike outs from Andrew Young and had got a big game offensivley from Gianlucca Giarrizzo. Giarizzo went 3-4 and had a pair of doubles. Powell went on to win 9-5.

Game two was a high scoring affair with both teams in double digits as Powell edged Worland 15-12. Tyler Dalgren became the 8th Pioneer to hit a home run with a 370 ft. blast in the fifth in the Powell win.

Powell advances to 19-9 on the season.
