Green River High School has announced a new head volleyball coach.

Rikki Shantz, a former JV coach from Rock Springs will take over and get to stay in Sweetwater County. Shantz grew up in Evanston where she played volleyball for four years for the Lady Red Devils. In 2000 she began her college career at Northwest College in Powell and was a part of their national tournament team.

Shantz moved back to Evanston and was soon offered a job at Rock Springs for th JV position. Green River athletics director announced Wednesday that she had accepted the varstiy position for the Lady Wolves.
