It might be hard to believe, but we're just passed the halfway point of the 2026 Legion baseball season in Wyoming. Lots of tournament action this weekend.

The finalists for the 2026 Milward Simpson Award were released on Monday. They are from seven high schools in the state.

The honors go to the top two finishers in individual events at the state track meet or those who were part of a victorious relay.

Five girls earned the fourth all-state award of their prep career.

Head coaches in both classifications voted on these honors. Twenty-five players in 3A and 4A earned the distinction.

Twenty-five players in each classification received the all-state distinction.

Players must have received first-team all-conference to be considered for all-state recognition.
